I studied art at Dundrum College and NCAD. I’ve held solo exhibitions at Airfield House (2002 and 2004), Rathfarnham Castle (2006), Skerries Mills (2009), Pearse Museum, St. Enda’s Park (2010) and Ballyroan Library (1999, 2013 and 2017).

I also exhibited on Merrion Square (2001–2017) and at People’s Art Exhibition (1994–2001). My work can be found in the collections of the Dept. of Justice, Treoir, HSE, UCD and OPW. Most of my pieces are found in private collections in Ireland and around the world.

Nature and my family are my main source of inspiration. The ever changing season and moods in my garden and the surrounding parklands and hills influence me and I try to capture their mood and sense in my paintings. While i have painted in Oil and Acrylic it is the immediacy of Watercolour which captivates me most.
I enjoy painting in my garden or eplein air in company. My main place of work is in my light-filled studio. It was purpose-built some years ago and I call it my ‘sanctuary’.
Nowadays I don’t show publicly but can be contacted if any one is interested in my work or commissions.
